Between The Lines Deborah Drezon Carroll’s Blog

I began blogging when I wrote my first book (Tales From The Family Crypt) as a way of building an audience of people interested in reading and sharing stories about something dear to our hearts (when not driving us crazy!), our family. I thought it could sell books but what I didn’t anticipate was how gratifying it would be to read what other people had to say and to get to know (albeit virtually), some wonderful, generous and supportive writers/bloggers. The blogosphere is one of the most nurturing communities I’ve ever had the pleasure to be a part of. When I wrote my children’s picture book, Real Grands: From A to Z, Everything a Grandparent Can Be, I was excited to meet and be embraced by that community as well. If I don’t sell books, at least I’ve had the honor of engaging with some fascinating people and what could be better than that?

This Between The Lines Series, launched by the lovely Katie on her terrific blog, Katherine’s Corner, is a wonderful way for you to have a chance to read some terrific writing and get to know some bloggers you’ll adore. So click on the link and enjoy the world I’ve come to love so much.

  • I wholeheartedly agree with you Deb. The blogging and writing community is some of the best support we get as writers, not to mention the valuable friendships we make along the way. 🙂
